For my Final Year Project (FYP) for my Diploma, my team and I are creating a game that promotes financial literacy for the youths. For one the game entails you as the player earning currency through hiring "adventurers" to go onto quests to earn potential rewards
Throughout the game the player is given different quest monsters to attempt to defeat, each having their own weaknesses against certain adventurers. Each adventurer adds a certain percentage of success rate to the current quest, but still has a chance of failing.
The game is designed as such to cater to the youth, which meant our design had to be somewhat attractive and colourful for the youth to be drawn in to play it, so the game is designed around the medieval era, with townsfolk and knights and such. And each adventurer within the game is represented by a "class" of sorts, namely being the Knight, Ranger and Wizard, each different adventurer adds a different percentage chance of succeeding the quest.
